About Christ Church Chislehurst

Dave and Cath Johnston give you a very warm welcome to Christ Church Chislehurst. Dave is the vicar and Cath is Assistant Head at a school in South London. They have three boys, a large cat and small dog. We hope you enjoy worshipping with us and look forward to getting to know you more. Please have a look through our website and see all the exciting opportunities there are in our church community.

Christ Church is a Church of England church in the Diocese of Rochester.  We're associated with the New Wine and Willow Creek networks, and we support Youth For Christ outreach locally.  We also run regular Alpha courses

Discovering a life of wholeness and purpose in Jesus Christ

We believe in the love of God for the whole world, expressed most powerfully and clearly in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Through his saving love we are given the opportunity to discover what it means to have an abundant life where every aspect of who we are is transformed into all that God has intended for us.

Our key values:

  • The Bible is God’s inspired word, speaking to us today
  • Prayer and worship is a priority
  • The Holy Spirit empowers us to be disciples of Jesus
  • We are called to invite everyone in our community to join us in discovering a life of wholeness and purpose in Jesus Christ
